Sharon Yvonne Stone, born March 10, 1958 from Meadville (Pennsylvania) was her mother's Dorothy Lawson, a former factory worker, as well as Joseph William Stone, a tool maker and die maker. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her siblings. Stone was regarded as exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered the second grades at five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). In addition, she competed at Miss Pennsylvania. Miss Pennsylvania pageant and won Miss Crawford County. Stone relocated to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977, to pursue a modeling career and signed up with the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. While in Europe Stone spent a full year living in Milano as well as Paris. Stone did, however, become dissatisfied with the acting and modeling in Europe. She decided to pursue her career as an actress while living in Europe. Woody Allen's movie, "Stardust Memories", was a mixed success when she was 20.
