
Suzanne Pleshette, born 31 January 1937 and passed away 19 January 2008 was an American film, television, theatre as well as voice actress. Pleshette began her stage career, and was a part of films in the late 1950s. She then appeared in a number of notable films, including Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). From 1972 until 1978, Pleshette was an recurring guest in a variety of television shows. She also played Emily Hartley, which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was born on the 31st of January, 1937, in the New York City neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, to Geraldine (nee Kaplan)[1 and Eugene Pleshette. The parents of her were Jewish and were the children of emigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager at the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, as well as the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
