Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton, an English actress, is well-known for movies such as Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, and ?Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters ?. Her birthplace was Gravesend in Greater London. Her acting career began shortly after she was graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Her first appearance was in a comedy called 'St Trinian's'. The film followed shortly thereafter in "Quantum of Solace" in the James Bond spy thriller. The film was a success commercially, and received moderate critiques. Then she played the lead female role in the fantasy action film "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time". Recently, she acted in a supporting part for"Orphan" in the French production "Orphan". Her professional career has led to her being receiving numerous nominations for awards. She was awarded the highly coveted Empire Award for best newcomer for her role in Quantum of Solace and the Evening Standard Theatre Award for the role she played as a supporting actress in Made in Dagenham.
